Margaret Orrell is an artist working in the disciplines of painting and drawing. Her paintings, both figurative and abstract, respond to literature, faces, plants, pattern and the grid.

‘It’s simple, I want to join in with the things I’m struck by. I’m quite capricious. After the first marks on paper, paint gets me to where I want to be.’
