Studio

My present studio is in my house. It mimics my art school space.
Two good boarded out walls, painted grey floor, a desk and books and sketchbooks within easy reach. I’m very happy there and often copy the Norman Ackroyd (RA aged 80) method: in studio by six, quietly using the uninterrupted hours to establish the working day.
I live on the Main Street of a large village and all the traffic and pedestrians go past our house. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m in the middle of things.
